Storage

How do I store my gelato?

When you receive your order, please put it straight in the freezer. Take your gelato box out and leave it for 10 minutes at room temperature before you eat it. If you have enough self-control not to finish the whole box (might be tough), place it back in the freezer before the gelato melts.

How long can I keep my gelato in the freezer?

We recommend keeping your gelato in the freezer for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Can I put my gelato back in the freezer if I haven’t finished it?

Yes, but remember not to let the gelato melt before you put the box back in the freezer.

Ingredients

Do you have vegan or gluten-free options?

Yes, all our sorbets are vegan and gluten-free. The majority of our gelato flavours and pinguinos are also gluten-free. Vegan and gluten-free cones are available in all our shops and online. However, our products are prepared in an environment where tree nuts, dairy, soy, wheat and other allergens are handled. While we take extra care to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are completely safe to consume for people with allergies.

Where can I find the allergens in your products?

We display all the allergens in our products directly on labels both in our stores and on our website. Feel free to ask any member of our team about them should you have any doubts.

Delivery

How do I track my order?

As soon as the order is collected from the shop by the rider, you will receive a text message with your tracking link.

Do you deliver on bank holidays?

We deliver every day, except on Christmas Day. Opening hours may vary depending on festivities.

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

Oh no, we don’t like hearing this but are aware that glitches can happen. Please, immediately send an email to support@badiani1932.com or call the shop you ordered from and we will do our utmost to solve your problem as soon as possible.

What should I do if my gelato order is wrong?

Human error can happen even though we work very hard to minimise it. Please, immediately send an email to support@badiani1932.com or call the shop you ordered from and we will solve this problem as soon as possible.

What if I’m not home for delivery?

I ordered from London Delivery
Gelato is a delicate product that can be transported for a maximum of 45 min. Due to COVID restrictions, we currently can’t leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour. That is why we ask you to be home to receive your order. You will receive a tracking link to avoid any misunderstandings about delivery time. Sadly, if we can’t find you at home, your order will be returned to us.

I ordered from UK Delivery
In order to ship our gelato around the UK, we use an innovative dry ice system that can keep your order in perfect condition for several hours. All our deliveries are contact-free. Not at home? No problem, make sure to let us know where we can safely leave your order until you get back.

Who do I contact if I have a problem with my order?

You can immediately send an email to support@badiani1932.com or call the shop you ordered from and we will do our utmost to solve your problem as soon as possible.

What’s included in my gelato order? Spoons, paper cups, wafers?

Badiani is a sustainable company. We only use compostable gelato boxes and biodegradable carrier bags. To avoid waste, we only include something extra when specifically requested.

Where do you deliver?

We offer two types of delivery systems. The first, London Delivery, covers a 5-mile radius from our London shops. The second, UK Delivery, brings sustainably packaged Badiani gelato across the whole UK.

Do you offer next day delivery?

The short answer is: yes! We actually offer same-day delivery within 40 min in London (in a radius of 5 miles from our shops). In our UK Delivery shop, we dispatch our products before 12pm from Tuesday to Friday. If you place your order before that time you can receive it the very next day; if not, within 48 hours. All the orders placed on Friday will be delivered on the following Wednesday.

Gifts

Can I give someone gelato as a gift?

Certainly! No one could wish for a tastier gift. Simply place your order on our website, enter the delivery address of the birthday person, and add a note asking for a personalised birthday card.

Do you personalise cakes?

Unfortunately due to our high production volumes, we need a week’s notice to personalise cakes. Bear in mind that we can only write a short sentence on top of our Large sized cakes.

Events

Do you organise private events in your shops?

The short answer is yes! We’ve got some fabulous spaces waiting for you at Notting Hill and Fulham Road. Just email us at info@badiani1932.com with all the event details and we will organise it according to your requirements.

Do you do catering for private events?

We do offer catering services, but only based on staff availability and the season.

Order from our online shop

No one likes to wait for their gelato on a hot day, so, to make sure it gets to you quickly, we send it directly from the nearest Badiani shop.
